A measured matcha ritual
Technique can make matcha more pleasant without turning a cup of tea into a guaranteed health outcome.
Start with a teaspoon
The current product directions use one scoop, described as one teaspoon. Sifting first reduces clumps and makes whisking easier.
Use hot—not boiling—water
Add 2–3 oz (60–90 ml) of water at 160–175°F (70–80°C). Very hot water can intensify bitterness. Whisk briskly in a zigzag until a fine froth forms.
Build the drink after the concentrate
Enjoy the concentrated tea as prepared, add more water, or add your preferred milk for a latte. The powder contains no listed sweetener; anything added changes the finished drink.
Caffeine belongs in the decision
Matcha naturally contains caffeine, but the current supplier record does not publish an exact amount per teaspoon. Consider personal sensitivity, time of day, other caffeine sources, pregnancy/nursing guidance, medication, and medical conditions. It is not intended for children.
Keep origin claims exact
The current product record describes shade-grown ceremonial matcha from Kyoto, Japan and lists the manufacturer country as USA. Those phrases will be confirmed against the physical sample and final documentation before sale; no organic certification is claimed.
